This learning space is dedicated to our founder’s third great uncle John. As she researched his life story, his message was quite clear. Knowledge is power and advocacy is our greatest weapon. This PDF document explains SC’s new required program called Intercept. This means that before a child can be admitted to a residential treatment facility, the family MUST go through Intercept first. It is a non-negotiable. Understand it well.

Dr. Megan Anna Neff is a fantastic resource for adults who are on the spectrum, suspect they may be, or have other neurodivergence such as ADHD. She’s a scholar, author, and advocate. The Hidden Village Consulting highly recommends her Autism Burnout Workbook.

Taylor Heaton is a great learning resource because her children were diagnosed first, then she proceeded to receive her own later on. She teaches adults how to learn about and meet their own mental health needs, and more!
Rich and Rox are a couple dedicated to public education regarding ADHD and Autism using their own life experiences as examples. They are on all social media platforms.
Serenity Wolf is a content creator diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and CPTSD. Her son Toren has Autism and ARFID. They dedicate their pages to educating others about Autism in a way that is humorous and easy to digest.
